５月１８日（日）の豊見城1団のカブ・ビーバー隊の活動は、『モノレールで牧志公設市場に行こう』でした。
The activity for the Pack Tomigusuku 1 on May 18 (Sun) was "Let's go to Makishi Public Market by Monorail."
奥武山公園駅に集合し、皆揃った所で体験のご家族がいたので皆んなで自己紹介と初まりの挨拶をしました。恥ずかしがりながらも挨拶出来ました。
The scouts gathered at Ohonoyama Koen Station, and when they were all there, the families they were experiencing were there, so they all introduced themselves and exchanged greetings.
牧志公設市場がどんな所なのか説明し、現在地が奥武山駅で牧志公設市場の近くにある美栄橋駅まで行く事を伝えた上で、いくらの切符を買えばいいのか考えて貰い、各々購入する事が出来ました。
また、モノレールに乗る際のマナーを聞くと「静かにする」と元気な声で応えていました。
The leader explained what Makishi Public Market was like and told us that we were currently at Ohonoyama Station and would be going to Miebashi Station, which is close to Makishi Public Market.
The leaders then asked the scouts to think about which tickets to buy, and each scout was able to buy one ticket.
When the leaders asked them about proper etiquette when riding the monorail, they responded in enthusiastic voices that they should be "To be quiet."
モノレールに乗り、外の風景や運転手さんを見たりし過ごしているうちに美栄橋駅に到着しました。美栄橋駅からは徒歩で牧志公設市場まで向かいましたが、地図を渡して周囲の建物や風景を見ながら子供達に先頭に立ってもらって進んでもらいました。
On the monorail, they spent their time looking at the scenery outside and the driver, and then they arrived at Miebashi Station. From Miebashi Station, we walked to Makishi Public Market.The leader handed them a map and had them lead the way while looking at the surrounding buildings and scenery.
牧志公設市場に到着し、魚や伊勢海老など様々な食材を見て「生きてる～大きい～」などと声が聞こえました。
最後に２階のジェラート屋さんでデザートを食べて、解散しました。
モノレール乗車と徒歩と見学など、色々と体験出来、「楽しかった～」と満足していました。。
At Makishi Public Market, they saw a variety of food ingredients, including fish and spiny lobsters, and exclaimed, "They're alive! And they're big!"
Finally, they had dessert at the Ice Cream shop on the second floor and then disbanded.
They were able to experience a variety of things, including riding the monorail, walking, and visiting the public market, and were satisfied, saying, "It was fun!"
